Emeli Sande shows off her sense of style at Abbey Road Studios to record with Dame Kelly Holmes

Emeli Sandé put on a vibrant display on Thursday as she headed to record music at London’s Abbey Road Studios.

The 35-year-old hitmaker certainly turned heads as he rocked a colorful patterned coat over a simple fitted ensemble of black pants and a T-shirt.

While she was joined by 52-year-old Olympian Kelly Holmes, who appeared to be heading to the famed studios to record as well.

Explaining what they were doing during the busy day, Emeli shared on Instagram: “Today we are shooting the video for the most fantastic @joinourrevival remix of ‘Brighter Days’ at @abbeyroadstudios.

I can’t wait for you to hear it! It really brings out the sun!! ☀️… getting in a good mood before going out’.

Emeli was photographed making her way to the studios, where she showed off her sense of style in a blue and orange coat with open arms.

She layered the outerwear over a pair of black pants and a navy V-neck T-shirt, and added a pair of heeled platform boots.

While the singer let her golden afro locks free, she opted for a bright red lip and tan makeup palette.

Appearing in high spirits, she flashed a big smile as she made her way to the studio, before beaming for snaps outside of the venue.

Among the large group that joined Emeli was Dame Kelly Holmes, who looked just as brilliant in a pair of red checkered trousers with a single satin stripe.

The athlete tucked a black shirt into her shiny pants, layering a jean jacket on top of the look.

Heading inside to record, Emeli shared a series of clips from the studio, writing: ‘Landed at @abbeyroadstudios’.

Whereas Kelly simply shared a snap of the front doors, which the Beatles frequented during the ’60s.

And it comes after Kelly and Emeli, who went public with their same-sex relationships last year, took the stage together during London Pride in 2022.

The duo wowed the crowd in Trafalgar Square, where the big musical extravaganza of the day took place.

Thousands gathered in the streets to watch the parade of face floats paint, glitter, jewelery and sequins as they walked from Hyde Park Corner to Whitehall.

As Kelly wrapped up in the Pride set, he vowed to the crowd that he would “never live behind that curtain again” after coming out as gay.

Team: Emeli and Kelly joined a group as they made their way to the recording studio.

While Emeli had said she was in a same-sex relationship in March last year, she was asked at the time if she now considers herself bisexual, to which she replied: “I’m not sure how I identify, but I guess so. I feel like I should fall in love with whoever I fall in love with.’

Emeli met Yoana while studying classical music and recently admitted that she is “happier than ever” in the relationship.

She revealed their relationship in a sweet Instagram post on April 2, confessing that her ‘soulmate’ had given her ‘the strength she needed’.
