The texts were revealed in disclosures by IRS whistleblower Joseph Ziegler to the House Ways and Means Committee, which were released Wednesday.
They came up Thursday morning during the first hearing on Joe Biden’s impeachment, alongside a litany of other texts and documents — some revealed by DailyMail.com — showing the president’s potential involvement in Hunter Biden’s shady foreign business deals.

That day, emails from Hunter’s abandoned laptop revealed that he was also finalizing a contract to become Ye’s attorney, for a staggering $1 million upfront fee. It’s not clear exactly what services Hunter would provide in the strange arrangement – which would see Hunter legally represent a man with whom he already had a business partnership.
