Music legend Elton John wowed a crowd at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Friday night as he continued his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.

The 75-year-old hitmaker, known for his extravagant theatrical wardrobe, did not disappoint when he sang a long string of fan favorites.

Elton, playing his last few shows in Australia, wore a black tuxedo with a train for the first of his two shows in Melbourne.

Styled with a dazzling pattern of red, blue and white flames on the cuffs and lapels, Elton looked like a rock veteran in the outrageous outfit.

She paired the suit with a white shirt and accessorized it with an oversized silver pendant that she wore on a thick chain.

The Your Song hitmaker completed his look with a pair of statement glasses, which were tinted red and decorated with rhinestone rims.

At one point on set, Elton got up from his piano to give the mass audience a better view of his outfit.

Arms outstretched, the pop superstar smiled and laughed as she enjoyed the applause.

Meanwhile, Sir Elton is set to make some serious money on tour.

In his tuxedo decorated with a dazzling pattern of red, blue and white flames on the cuffs and lapels, Elton looked like a rock veteran in the outrageous outfit (pictured).

His Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which kicked off in Newcastle last Sunday night, offers a ‘VIP’ experience package to enthusiastic fans for a whopping $1,749.

Billed as the ‘definitive Elton John experience’, the VIP package offers buyers a luxury seat, drinks and canapés and a photo opportunity with Elton’s iconic Yamaha grand piano – but not with the singer himself.

Fans can also pay $1,499 for another VIP package that includes a seat in the first ten rows and a photo with Elton’s piano.

She paired the suit with a white shirt and accessorized it with an oversized silver pendant that she wore on a thick chain.

Elton will also not be posing for photos with these ticket holders.

Luckily for less enthusiastic fans, regular tickets to their shows are also available for a comparative bargain price of $250.

Elton will next play Melbourne on January 14, before heading to Sydney to play concerts. on January 18 and 19 before heading to Brisbane for its final performance on January 21.

Elton’s next shows come 51 years after his first performance in Australia at Sydney’s Randwick Racecourse in October 1971.
