Elton John was hospitalized on Sunday evening after a fall at his villa in Nice.
The music legend, 76, was taken to the orthopedic ward at Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco where he was treated for minor injuries.
A representative for Elton confirmed to MailOnline that he was discharged on Monday morning and is now back home in good health.
In a statement, they said: ‘We can confirm that following a slip-up yesterday at his home in the south of France, Elton has visited the local hospital as a precaution.
“After checks he was immediately discharged this morning and is now back home and in good health.”
Elton spent the summer in France with husband David Furnish and their two sons after finishing his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in July.
He was last seen enjoying a relaxing day on his superyacht with a host of A-List friends in St. Tropez on Aug. 22.
