Elsa Pataky takes husband Chris Hemsworth to visit her family in Madrid… after the Australian actor was caught writing Spanish words on his hand at the red carpet premiere

Elsa Pataky and her husband Chris Hemsworth visited Madrid, the birthplace of the Spanish actress, this week.

The 46-year-old shared a series of photos via her Instagram account on Sunday surrounded by her Hispanic family, including a much-loved photo of her handsome Aussie beau, 39.

In the first photo, Elsa looked relaxed as she put her arm around Chris’s shoulder, with the Thor star staring at her lovingly.

“Enjoy my hometown of Madrid with my loved ones,” Elsa captioned her post.

She then added, “Disfrutando de Madrid mi ciudad natal con la gente que amo,” which translates to “Enjoying Madrid, my hometown, with the people I love.”

Other photos showed Elsa surrounded by her Spanish relatives, including her brother Cristian’s newborn daughter.

The couple landed in Madrid last week to attend the red carpet premiere of Chris’ new film Extraction 2 on Wednesday.

The actor was caught with Spanish words scrawled on the palm of his left hand as he left the event.

As Chris waved and happily signed autographs for the crowd, he was seen scrawling Spanish words in blue pen on the inside of his hand.

The Hollywood actor has been married to his Spanish wife for 13 years, but it seems he has yet to learn the language.

The Thor star took the gaffe with good humor and addressed it in an Instagram post on Thursday.

It comes after Chris was caught with Spanish words scribbled on the palm of his left hand as he stepped outside the premiere of his movie Extraction 2 on the red carpet in Madrid on Wednesday.

“After years of coming to Spain and being asked ‘has my Spanish improved’, I can safely say it’s in the palm of my hand,” he said.

The sweet message on his hand reads: ‘Estoy muy feliz de estar en España’ which translates to: ‘I am very happy to be in Spain’.

“Elsa wrote it for me,” Chris told Spanish TV show El Hormiguero (The Anthill).

Chris, who plays the black market mercenary Tyler Rake in the movies, looked sharp at the event in a black suit and crisp white shirt.

Extraction 2, the follow-up to 2020’s hit Extraction, will be released on June 16.
