Elsa Pataky stuns as she cosies up to husband Chris Hemsworth at screening of his new film in Berlin

Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky looked very much in love as they snuggled together during a movie screening in Berlin.

The Byron Bay actor, 39, looked every inch like a movie star as he posed on the red carpet for a special screening of Extraction 2 at Berlin’s Zoo Palast on Friday.

Chris, who plays the black market mercenary Tyler Rake in the films, stood proudly next to his model wife Elsa, 46, as he put his arm around her.

His Spanish wife Elsa turned heads on the carpet when she donned a gorgeous floor-length pink satin dress that showed off her fit figure.

The gorgeous dress complimented her tanned complexion while keeping her makeup natural and dewy.

She styled her long brown locks in a loose wave and for accessories, the Spanish model kept it simple with a silver chain.

The Hollywood actor looked dapper in a blue three-piece suit that showed off his muscular physique.

He paired it with a light blue shirt while keeping his brown locks tousled and sweeping across his forehead.

The Thor actor appeared in high spirits as he attended the screening of his latest film.

He was photographed taking selfies and signing autographs for his adoring fans before taking the stage at Zoo Palast.

Chris joined the evening’s host, Jenny Augusta, and filmmaker Sam Hargrave to welcome guests and introduce them to the film.

Extraction 2, the follow-up to 2020’s hit Extraction, will be released on June 16.

Chris’ character Tyler Rake is back and ready for his next mission in the movie, which also stars Idris Elba.

In 2020, Extraction became the number one movie on Netflix and had 90 million households in its first four weeks.

Extraction follows former SASR operator turned mercenary Tyler Rake as he is recruited to rescue the son of India’s biggest drug lord.

The son – played by actor Rudhraksh Jaiswal – is held for a hefty ransom by a rival drug lord in Bangladesh.

But when Rake tries to complete the mission, things go horribly wrong when corruption and greed are exposed.

Just a few days before the German screening, Chris attended the film’s premiere in his wife’s native Spain.

The work trips come after the actor announced his film career would take a back seat following a discovery that he is at risk for Alzheimer’s disease.

Chris, who recently lost his grandfather Martin to Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 83, spoke to him British magazine GQ about how he wants to be remembered when it’s his time to go.

Hemsworth said he was touched to hear people speak fondly of Martin at his funeral, and hopes the same will happen for him when he dies.

“My uncle specifically said ‘he is remembered as a good fellow’. And if he knew, or if someone told him that’s how he would be remembered, how incredibly proud would he feel,” the Thor star explained.

It made me think about my own life. And it wasn’t about career or anything. It was about being remembered as someone who was good and kind and contributed something of value.”

That’s what the Rush actor told me Vanity purse last November, he decided to take “time off” after filming a confrontational episode about death in his new Disney+ docu-series Limitless.

After having blood tests done for the program, he was told he is “eight to 10 times” more likely to develop Alzheimer’s disease than the general population because he is one of only two to three percent of people is with two copies of the APOE4 gene.

However, according to the CDC, there are apparently a number of steps people in his position can take to reduce their level of risk, such as making sure they get a good night’s sleep, limiting their alcohol consumption, and quitting smoking.

As a result, Chris responded to the news of his own predisposition to Alzheimer’s disease by adopting a healthier lifestyle.

“Doing an episode about death and facing your own mortality made me think, ‘Oh God, I’m not ready to go yet,'” he told the publication.

“I want to sit and be in this space with a greater sense of stillness and gratitude. And then you start talking about kids and family… It really triggered something in me to want to take some time off.”

Limitless plays on Chris’ fame through superhero movies and follows him as he pushes the limits of what his body can do.

He can be seen on the Disney+ program pursuing various physical goals, such as what Variety said was 40 pounds of weight gain for a Thor movie.
