Elsa Pataky shows off plenty of leg as she steps out in hot pants with husband Chris Hemsworth at Anna Wintour’s pre-Met Gala party

Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky made quite the style statement when they stepped out in the new year ahead of the 2024 Met Gala.

Chris, 40, will co-chair the annual fashion extravaganza on Monday, May 6, along with Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Anna Wintour.

The couple took a fashion risk when they attended Anna Wintour’s pre-Mat Gala meeting on Sunday, with Elsa showing off plenty of legs in hot pants despite the rainy weather.

Chris wore a navy blue leopard print suit with the buttons open to reveal his sculpted chest, paired with retro orange tinted sunglasses, while Elsa wore a blue sequin blazer and matching shorts.

To add even more sparkle to her look, the blonde wore a pair of black pumps with gold heels and matching gold hoop earrings.

Like Chris, she unbuttoned her purple silk blouse to reveal a glimpse of cleavage and black bra.

Elsa – who shares daughter India, 11, and twins Sasha and Tristan, nine, with Chris – completed her look with her hair tied in a high ponytail.

The 2024 Met Gala will be themed Sleeping Beauties and will see the Hollywood and fashion elite descend once again on the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

Chris will take a central role at Monday’s Met Gala as co-chair, alongside Challengers actress Zendaya, singer Jennifer and rapper Bad Bunny.

“This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements and each has their own style history at the Met Gala,” Vogue said.

Meanwhile, the chairs of honor for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.

The dress code for this year’s Met Gala exhibition is The Garden of Time.

The display case displays approximately 250 items from the permanent collection of The Costume Institute.

The pieces are all rendered using elements such as AI, GCI and more, while themes such as land, sea and sky are played out.

“It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” says Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator responsible for The Costume Institute, about the upcoming exhibition.

“One thing I hope this show will activate is the sensory appreciation of fashion.”
