Elsa Pataky has wished her husband Chris Hemsworth a happy 40th birthday by marking the milestone with a friendly jibe.
In a post shared on Instagram, the 47-year-old Spanish actress poked fun at her Australian actor love facing the test of time.
Alongside a photo of Chris looking shocked, she wrote: That’s exactly the face I made when I turned 40, my dear. But don’t worry, it will be fine!
“I’ll be there for you too, hold your hand and give you all my beauty secrets, even if you look better than ever.” Congratulations!’ she added.
Chris is celebrating the special birthday surrounded by friends and family, enjoying a surfing session with brother Liam on Friday.

In a viral clip from Chris’ Disney+ docuseries Limitless, Elsa is made to look like an 87-year-old version of herself with makeup, a wig and prosthetics.
The Thor star, who recently discovered he’s genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s, took part in the “experiment” to allay his fears.
The purpose of the exercise was for Chris to see what his wife would look like when they grew old together.

At first, Elsa wasn’t sure she wanted her husband to see her as an older woman.
“I’m not sure I want Chris to see me like this,” she said.
When they met, the pair shared a tender kiss and hug, before Chris told his wife, “You’re still beautiful.”
The scene has since gone viral on TikTok, with fans describing it as “romantic” and “heartbreaking.”
Chris and Elsa have been married since 2010 and share daughter India, 10, and twin sons Sasha and Tristan, eight.
