Elon Musk’s Tesla RECALLS more than 3,000 Cybertrucks due to potentially fatal flaw

Tesla has recalled more than 3,000 Cybertrucks to fix an accelerator pedal pad that could become loose and stuck in the interior trim.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced Friday that the company will replace or repair the accelerator pedal free of charge and that owners will be notified in June through letters sent to them.
The recall comes after a new Tesla owner shared the design flaw in a video, claiming the pedal cover slid forward and trapped the accelerator pedal under the interior that was depressed at 100 percent.

The recall comes as hundreds of Cybertruck owners reported their delivery appointments had been canceled – and were left in the dark about when shipments would restart
NHTSA said 3,878 Cybertrucks were affected by the recall.
Many buyers had received messages saying their deliveries had been canceled weeks before Tesla made the call to take its electric vehicles off the road.
Elon Musk only acknowledged this in a response to a Whole Mars Catalog X-post that falsely claimed that Cybertruck deliveries are resuming, citing as evidence the fact that a customer had been assigned a vehicle identification number (VIN).
The billionaire stated: ‘There have been no injuries or accidents as a result. We’re just being very careful.”
But it now appears that deliveries have not resumed due to Friday’s recall.
