Elon Musk’s ex Grimes has spoken out in support of the X CEO’s transgender daughter.
The musician, who was in a longtime relationship with Musk and raised three of his children, made her opinions known on Musk’s platform on Thursday amid his online war with 20-year-old Vivian Jenna Wilson.
It started when the Tesla boss claimed in an interview this week that Wilson – formerly Xavier – was “killed by the woke mind virus” spread by the mass media.
This prompted a response from Wilson, who also criticized a tweet from her father in which he claimed she was born “gay and mildly autistic.”
In a post on her own page, Grimes – real name Claire Elise Boucher – defiantly declared: “I love Vivian and am endlessly proud of her.”

It comes amid Musk’s online war with 20-year-old Vivian Jenna Wilson, whose mother is Musk’s ex-wife Jennifer Justine Musk
By Friday morning, the post had already been viewed more than three million times and is quickly approaching 100,000 likes.
It also prompted a flood of responses, with Grimes, 36, responding openly.
“I’m glad you love Vivian and I know Elon does too,” wrote one bystander who identified herself as “retired business owner, wife, mother, patriot, fan of X and Elon Musk, [and] lover of God’s Word’.
“Vivian was created in God’s image and deserves respect at all times,” the commentator continued.
“But as great as human creativity can be, it’s not great if you change what God created. And you just can’t change your DNA.”
Grimes responded immediately: ‘God gave us hands to build cathedrals, rockets to the moon.
“It is clearly divine to use God’s greatest gift to humanity, which is creativity.”
At that moment someone else joined the conversation: this one advertised as ‘Deborah, follower of Jesus.’
“Not when it comes to HIS perfect design of our bodies,” she argued. “We can’t mess with that. And that’s because it will ultimately, and that could take years, to destroy us.”
Musk, 50, said in September 2021 that he and Grimes were “semi-separated” but still “in love” after three years of dating.[d] each other,’ and see each other occasionally. Grimes would officially end her affair with Musk the following year, before a legal battle between the two
Her initial post prompted a flood of responses, several of which Grimes, 36, answered openly — respectfully addressing the objections of some religious bystanders
To this the Oblivion singer replied: ‘I’m not a Christian, but I respect you[sic] Christian God.
‘[I] have Christian friends and sometimes go on vacation with them or follow their teachings.
“But I don’t have that worldview, and I also like to change my body with tattoos and stuff,” she added
‘[I]If we are created in God’s image, and He has given us the ability to change that image, to beautify it, to make it unique, then that too is God’s image.
“To me, God is the universe, not just infinite, but infinite possibilities,” she concluded.

Grimes would officially end her relationship with Musk the following year, roughly four years after they first dated.
During that time they had three children: son X AE-A-Xii, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus, or ‘Tau.’
‘[I]”If we are made in God’s image, and he gave us the ability to change it, to beautify it, to make it unique, then that is also God’s image,” she told a commentator who insisted that God has designs for people’s bodies. “To me, God is the universe, not just infinite, but infinite possibilities,” she said
Last year, the artist filed a lawsuit against Musk over parental rights. On September 29, he filed a petition in the Francisco Court “to establish the parental relationship.”
A few days earlier, she had brought up the situation, accusing Musk of not letting her see one of their sons.
“Hey, I would rather not breathe any more life into the current press cycle, but I want to de-escalate,” she wrote in a tweet
She then turned her sights on Shivon Zilis, with whom Musk had twins Strider and Azure in November 2021, and reportedly their third child earlier this year.
“I finally had a long overdue talk with Shivon,” Grimes continued. “This wasn’t her fault, please don’t be mad at her! We respect each other so much and we look forward to being friends and raising the kids together.”
The singer concluded her performance by mentioning her youngest son.
“I wish I could show you how cute Techno is… but my priority right now is to keep my babies out of the public eye.”
The current status of the case, and whether it is still ongoing, remains unclear to this day, as all court documents related to it were classified.

Last April, it seemed like the two were back on good terms, based on an unusually brief exchange on X. Grimes is seen holding a sword at the 2021 Met Gala in Manhattan
However, this past April, it appeared the two were on good terms again, based on an extremely brief conversation that again took place on Musk’s social media platform.
It started with Grimes sharing a clip from the video game “Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty,” in which a character she voices sings a song onstage inside a holographic spider web.
“Cool concept for a real performance,” Musk wrote in response.
Grimes replied, “That’s true, I might be sick of projection mapping.”
Meanwhile, a conflict continues to rage between Musk and his daughter and Jennifer Justine Musk, whom he divorced in 2008 after eight years.
He is said to have fathered 12 children in the past 22 years, yet he openly proclaims that the world is underpopulated.
Wilson officially changed her gender to female and her name from “Xavier” to Vivian Jenna Wilson in 2022. In the lawsuit, she stated that she “no longer wishes to be related in any way” to Musk.
Vivian filed the petition just three days after her 18th birthday, even though the court documents were not made public until the day after Father’s Day.
Musk has reportedly fathered 12 children in the past 22 years, while publicly preaching his view that the world is underpopulated, calling Vivian a “communist”
Mother Justine tweeted the night her daughter’s petition was approved: “I had a strange childhood,” my 18-year-old daughter told me.
“I can’t believe I look so normal.” “I’m so proud of you.” “I’m proud of myself!”
Meanwhile, on Father’s Day, ahead of her complaint’s announcement, Musk tweeted: “I love all my children so much.”
