Ellie Goulding struggled to walk upstairs in a tight maxi skirt and knee-high boots as she mocked the “reality” of her chic look on Wednesday.
The singer, 36, looked sensational in the plaid number that hit the floor with multiple slits ahead of her appearance on Tuesday’s This Morning.
She paired her striking skirt with a semi-sheer top, triangle bra and an oversized white shirt, which she wore open.
Ellie clung to a black leather handbag as she posed to show off her outfit in the clip shared to Instagram before documenting her hilarious tussle.
The musician then cut to a video of her attempting to climb the stairs while holding on to the railing and swinging her feet sideways due to the tight fit.

She rocked back and forth, waving her long dark brown hair as she struggled with the restricted movement, trying not to step on her skirt.
Ellie showed she was somewhat of an expert at maneuvering stairs at the ITV Studios as she raced to the top in her fitted outfit.

While discussing her new music, Ellie spoke to replacement hosts Josie Gibson and Craig Doyle and described her little boy’s adorable reaction to her songs.
Josie commented that it was her first album since becoming a mother, and Ellie said, “Thank you.” He’s almost two. That’s the best thing, that I get to see his reaction on this album, that’s the best thing of all. Not if he puts his fingers in some people’s ears.
“But most of all… he likes miracles and he likes how long I will love you for some reason. That one as well.’

‘I’m a big environmentalist, so I like to do that and then touring is my natural habitat. I didn’t get to it with my last album. So I’m really excited to take this one on tour.”
Ellie has previously said that she soothes her crippling anxiety and panic attacks by snuggling with her son.
Ellie shares her son with Eton and Caspar, the Oxford-educated art dealer, and she says he helps calm the frenetic states that “have dictated much of my life and career.”
