Ellie Goulding and her estranged husband Caspar Jopling looked closer than ever as they enjoyed an alfresco dinner together in London’s Notting Hill.

The former couple, who publicly confirmed they had split in February, vowed to remain ‘best friends’ as they co-parent their son Arthur, three.

Ellie and Caspar appeared on good terms as they were pictured smoking and drinking outside a restaurant in the posh area.

The 37-year-old singer smiled brightly as she walked alongside the 32-year-old art dealer as they left the eatery separately after meeting for dinner.

Ellie looked chic in a black blazer with a fitted top and leather trousers, while carrying a Stella McCartney bag under her arm.

Meanwhile, Caspar cut a cool figure in a beige jacket with black trousers, while he accessorized with a baseball cap and glasses.

Their outing comes shortly after Ellie documented her latest trip to Costa Rica in a flurry of Instagram snaps on Wednesday.

The British star showed off her fantastic figure as she modeled a skimpy black bikini that showed off her toned abs and peachy bum.

She posed stormily on the beach at Playa Hermosa, where she was photographed bumping with new boyfriend Armando Perez and a friend on Friday.

The mother-of-one not only spent time by the ocean, but also explored the lush rainforest during her trip.

Ellie captioned the snaps “Opacity,” meaning hard to understand or know.

It marks the singer’s latest trip to the Central American country since ringing in the new year in the tropical country that borders Nicaragua and Panama.

Ellie first met Armando during a girls’ holiday in the surfer’s paradise in December.

Since then, Ellie, who confirmed her divorce from the father of her child Caspar in February, has been spotted several times on the vast coastline near Santa Teresa.

Her first appearance alongside the surf instructor, who previously taught Colombian singer Shakira on the same beach, sparked a wave of rumors that she had split from art dealer Armando.

The photos taken in February of Ellie frolicking in the sea with Armando without her wedding ring only fueled speculation that she and her husband had been living apart for six months.

The once-loved couple, who married at York Minster in August 2019 surrounded by A-list guests, are said to be trying to train for their three-year-old son Arthur.

After the first images emerged of Ellie cuddling with Armando, the musician wrote on Instagram: ‘In light of the recent stories, I feel like I have no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I privately dated some time ago have broken up.

“We remain the best of friends and have successfully co-parented, putting our son’s best interests first.

‘We are committed to protecting the privacy of our families and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes – we will have no further comment. Thank you.’
