The musician went on to explain how being pregnant during the lockdown “put my nervous system into overdrive” and without the performance outlet made her anxiety even more “unbearable”.

Ellie explained how she appreciates “slower movements like stretching” to ease her feelings and prefers holistic approaches.

“I just keep trying things,” she admitted, “I actually don’t know a single person since the pandemic who doesn’t have anxiety.”

The interview comes after Ellie finally released her new album Higher Than Heaven on Friday after it was delayed twice.

She was pictured on her way to an album signing in London when her fifth record was released in the UK.

The hitmaker was originally supposed to release Higher Than Heaven in February, but was pushed back to March 24.

Then it was delayed again, this time due to issues with ‘sourcing material’ for physical formats.

In a lengthy statement on Instagram, she wrote, “As you know, it’s incredibly important to me to make these products as green as possible, so we’ve worked really hard to keep that promise.”
