Ellie Goulding stepped out with her husband Caspar Jopling in West London on Monday, for yet another outing for the previously troubled couple.

The Starry Eyed singer, 36, split with her ex just weeks after calling it quits on her increasingly close friendship with Tory peer Zac Goldsmith.

The trip is their second outing in recent days after they were spotted late last month both looking glum.

During their latest outing, Ellie and Caspar, who share son Arthur, two, held juices while the latter held a child’s scooter and helmet.

The singer was dressed from head to toe in black with leggings and a beanie paired with a cozy jacket, while wearing trendy sneakers.

Ellie kept a low profile in her dark ensemble, while Caspar looked trendy in a beige sweater with a tie-dye cap and glasses.

The distance between them was a contrast to when Ellie was spotted close to Lord Goldsmith, 48, near his £3million mansion in west London last month.

The pair had developed a relationship over their shared passion for tackling climate change and bonded following the breakdown of Lord Goldsmith’s marriage to his second wife, Alice Rothschild, after ten tears.

The friendship was described as unlikely as Lord Goldsmith is the Eton-educated son of the late billionaire financier Sir James Goldsmith, while Ellie grew up on a council estate in Herefordshire.

However, the singer has made many friends in high society, including Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie who were guests at her star-studded wedding to Mr Jopling at York Minster in 2019.

Lord Goldsmith was previously married to fellow environmentalist Sheherazade Bentley, but they split in 2010. He resigned as minister in June after accusing Rishi Sunak of being ‘disinterested’ in the environment.

Ellie and Lord Goldsmith first met at the COP26 climate conference in Glasgow in November 2021.

Seven months later they were spotted having lunch together at chic cafe The Garden in Covent Garden and later at The Wolseley restaurant in Mayfair.

In October last year they were at the same party at exclusive London members club 5 Hertford Street and just weeks later they reunited for the next climate summit, COP27, in Egypt.

But the Daily Mail revealed earlier this month that Ellie had chosen to stop spending time with Zac and focus on saving her marriage.
