Ellie Goulding and Avril Lavigne added some extra glamor to the front row on Wednesday afternoon as Elie Saab unveiled his latest collection during Paris Fashion Week.
The Lebanese designer was on hand to present his Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl show as guests gathered in the French capital for the penultimate day of haute couture womenswear shows.
Ellie, 37, led a host of stars ahead of Wednesday’s event, claiming the spotlight in a loose, semi-sheer frock coat with a waistband.
A matching miniskirt and thigh-high leather boots completed the look, while her signature blonde hair was styled with a conventional center parting.
The singer, who attended the event after partying with Taylor Swift at London venue Chiltern Firehouse on Monday night, settled in alongside fellow guest Olivia Palermo after posing for a series of photos.

Avril, 39, made sure she claimed her own share of the spotlight, standing out in a sparkling purple coat and chunky peep-toe heels.
The Canadian singer completed her look with a wide-brimmed raffish hat, while her bold makeup added a dramatic flourish to the overall look.
To add an extra touch of glamor to the proceedings, Swedish model Victoria Silvstedt was also present as the event kicked off.
Ellie’s appearance comes after she reunited with her estranged husband Caspar Jopling – just one day after returning from Costa Rica, where she spent time with her new surfer boyfriend.
The couple, who announced in February that they were splitting after four years of marriage, were spotted taking a stroll in London last Saturday looking relaxed.
Ellie and Casper, who said they remain “best friends” and “successfully co-parent” their three-year-old son Arthur, have been spotted together several times despite their split.
Their united front comes just days after they took a sunset dip with surf instructor Armando Perez near the small beach town of Santa Teresa.
Ellie had met Armando in December during a girls’ holiday to the Central American country bordering Nicaragua and Panama.

In February, after rumors that she and Casper had been living apart for six months, photos emerged of the Burn singer kissing and cuddling the handsome surfer in the sea without her wedding ring, fueling speculation.
It led to the pair publicly announcing their split, with the three-time BRIT award winner and climate activist stating on Instagram: ‘In light of recent stories, I feel I have no choice but to let you all know that Caspar and I got divorced privately some time ago.
“We remain the best of friends and have successfully co-parented, putting our son’s best interests first.
‘We are committed to protecting the privacy of our families and thank people in advance for respecting our wishes – we will have no further comment. Thank you.’
Since then, the singer has been spotted several times in Costa Rica spending time with Perez.
