The Monique Lhuillier outing showed off the television sensation’s slim figure and featured a thick white collar and short black tie.

Pompeo, who reunited with the cast of her hit ABC show at the event, pulled her blonde locks into a wispy updo.

She captivated as she smiled and posed for photos before taking the stage with her colleagues.

Ellen took the stage as a co-host alongside her Grey’s co-stars.

Katherine Heigl, who starred as medical intern Dr. Izzie Stevens on the show, wowed in a scarlet dress.

Chandra Wilson, Justin Chambers and James Pickens Jr. also presented.

The cast reunited to mark the show’s twentieth season, making it the longest-running primetime medical drama in TV history.

They also presented the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.

Katherine told Extra about the reunion: “I haven’t seen my old friends in years, so this is really fun and exciting.”

Pompeo recently left the show after 18 years, while Heigl left in 2010 after rumors of on-set feuds and a reputation for being “difficult” to work with.

Heigl said in a conversation with Ellen about her controversial departure Variety last year: ‘I was so naive. I got on my soapbox and had some things to say, and I felt really passionate about this stuff.”

She added: ‘I felt very strong. I felt so strong that I also got a megaphone on my soapbox. There was no part of me that could imagine a bad reaction.”

“I felt really vindicated in how I felt about it and where I came from. I’ve spent most of my life – I think most women do – in people-pleaser mode. It’s really upsetting when you feel like you’ve really made everyone unhappy. “I didn’t mean to do that, but I had some things to say, and I didn’t think I would get such a strong reaction,” she added thoughtfully.

The insightful statement continued: “I was in my late twenties. It probably took me until my mid-to-late 30s before I could really turn off all the noise again and say, “But who are you? Are you this bad person? Are you ungrateful? Are you unprofessional? Are you difficult?” Because I was confused! I thought maybe I was.

“I literally believed that version, felt ashamed for so long, and then had to say, ‘Wait. Who am I listening to? I don’t even listen to myself. I know who I am.’

Pompeo offered, “You were just a little early because they came up with this thing where everyone has their own megaphone and they get a blue check. It’s called Twitter. You were just a little ahead of your time, lady.”

The strike-postponed ceremony saw Hollywood’s biggest stars gather to celebrate the best of primetime television in 2023.

Comedian and actor Anthony Anderson made his debut as host alongside an all-black executive producer team, an Emmy first.

The awards ceremony usually takes place in September, but was postponed due to writers’ and actors’ strikes last year.

As a result, the Emmys were postponed until 2024, during the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

It followed Sunday night’s Critics Choice Awards and followed the Golden Globes.
