Ellen DeGeneres unrecognizable as a brunette at UK pub with Portia de Rossi as they flee US after Trump win
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi are getting to know their new hometown after reportedly moving from the US to rural England.
The couple was spotted enjoying the music of The Corrs as they made a stop at The Farmer’s Dog, a pub owned by British broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson, 64, located in the United Kingdom.
In the video posted by the watering hole, Ellen, 66, and Portia, 51, were among those listening to the Irish band perform a relaxed, acoustic performance.
Singers James Blunt, 50, and Natalie Imbruglia, 49, were also in attendance.
‘@natalie_imbruglia @thetallirish @jamesblunt what a great night at the pub with @thecorrsofficial ..as a good pub night should be ..acoustic set, a few drinks, great friends @jeremyclarkson1 thanks for organizing it!,’ the post read subtitled.
It seems her new life abroad has inspired Ellen to consider a new hairstyle: she ditched her trusty blonde for a head full of brunette locks.

The video was previously shared last week The cover reported that the couple had moved to rural England.
DeGeneres is settling in Britain with her wife and they reportedly have no plans to return to the US.
To underscore the apparent permanence of the move, the couple plans to put their Montecito mansion on the market.
A person close to the former Ellen DeGeneres Show host claimed that she and De Rossi skipped town mainly in response to the 2024 presidential election, in which Donald Trump won a second non-consecutive term.
The couple now reportedly lives in the Cotswolds, a rural part of south-west England, about 100 miles from London.
The area is popular with celebrities who want to avoid the hustle and bustle of London, which would make sense for DeGeneres and Rossi since they had already tried to avoid Los Angeles by moving to Montecito in Santa Barbara County, about 75 miles from LA.
A source said People that Ellen crossed the pond last month to check out new homes before finding her newest home.

‘Ellen was house hunting in England at the beginning of October. She eventually found a house she loved and bought it shortly after,” the source said.
The insider noted of their latest pub outing: “They hung out [Clarkson’s partner, actress] Lisa Hogan and James Blunt and The Corrs performed at the pub.’
Ellen and Portia will have many famous neighbors. Stars with properties in the Cotswolds include David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Hurley, Jeremy Clarkson and Damien Hirst.

The area is even home to royalty, as King Charles owns Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
Kate Winslet also once had a country house in the area, although it is unclear whether she still lives there, and it has been rumored for years that Hugh Grant has a small hideaway in the Cotswolds.
In October, The sun reported that the couple had purchased a Cotswolds estate, so their purchase predated the 2024 election.
However, after Trump’s victory, the married couple became “very disillusioned,” and one source claimed they then vowed to “fly the hell out” of the US, according to sources who spoke to TMZ.
While many celebrities have threatened to leave the US in light of a Trump victory, most have not done so.
Stars including Cher, Barbra Streisand, Sharon Stone and Sophie Turner have all said they would consider leaving the US if Trump wins, although it is not clear whether any of them will actually do so.

Sources told TMZ that DeGeneres and de Rossi had already bought the Cotswolds home before the 2024 election, but after that they decided to “get the hell out of the US”; seen together in 2022 in Inglewood, California.
America Ferrera is said to be considering a move to Britain, and Eva Longoria has discussed a move to Europe, although she made it clear that despite her disapproval of Trump, she had moved for international work.
The publication notes that DeGeneres was one of Vice President Kamala Harris’ known donors.
She donated $3,300 to the losing Democratic candidate, which is the maximum amount that can be donated directly to a candidate, although wealthy donors often get around contribution limits by donating much more to political action committees and super PACs.
Harris was tapped to replace President Biden as the Democratic nominee in July this year, and DeGeneres shared a message of support for her on social media in August.

Despite reportedly leaving the US due to the election and Donald Trump’s impending second administration, DeGeneres had plenty of reasons for a fresh start away from home.
Her career was tarnished – likely permanently – by allegations that she fostered a toxic workplace on the set of her eponymous daytime talk show, the final episode of which aired on May 26, 2022.
She delved into her persona non grata status in her stand-up special For Your Approval, which was released on Netflix in late September.
The comedian joked that she had been “kicked out of show business” in the special, which featured material about how she has been spending her time since her TV show ended.
According to The Wrap, DeGeneres and de Rossi have listed or will soon list their Bali-inspired Montecito mansion.
According to TMZ, they are still considering a possible asking price, but once they find one, the property will hit the market.
DeGeneres and de Rossi purchased the massive home in 2019 for a whopping $27 million.
The mansion features five bedrooms and ten bathrooms, over 8,188 square feet, and includes exotic features such as bamboo ceilings, flamed black limestone, and beautiful distressed oak floors.
The couple also sold their Carpinteria mansion for $96 million in August.
