Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi keep it casual as they enjoy a day of shopping in Santa Barbara

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi enjoyed a relaxing outing together on Sunday afternoon.

The talk show host, 65, and the actress, 50, were spotted on a shopping trip in Santa Barbara, California, as their purchases included a birthday card and gifts.

The pair kept things casual for the outing and were spotted chatting outside with a group of friends.

DeGeneres wore a dark green baggy T-shirt, green shorts and a pair of white sneakers. She completed her look with black sunglasses, a silver watch on one of her wrists and a navy blue baseball cap.

The comedian and former host of The Ellen DeGeneres Show was photographed with the birthday gifts she and De Rossi bought stacked on top of each other.

Meanwhile, De Rossi wore a dark plaid sundress that reached to the floor and a pair of black and gold sneakers.

The former Ally McBeal star completed her look with sunglasses and a white fedora hat, with a thick tan ribbon tied around it, on top of her head. She had her blonde hair pulled up in a low bun.

de Rossi was seen with both hands holding the birthday card, which read ‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY’ in capital letters.

It was unclear who the birthday card and gifts the couple bought were for, as both of their birthdays aren’t until January (next year Ellen will turn 66 on January 26, while Portia will turn 51 on January 26). January 31st).

DeGenres and de Rossi have been together since 2004 and got married in August 2008.

The couple’s Aug. 13 sighting in Santa Barbara comes after DeGeneres announced on her Instagram account on July 29 that she and Portia have purchased several chickens as pets, something the couple have wanted to do for “a long time.”

In the video, DeGeneres showed off several of the couple’s new pet chickens eating some food and playing in the large chicken dome structure they now live in, which is located in the backyard of their Montecito, California, home.

“Portia and I have dreamed of this day for a long time and it has finally arrived. We have chickens! If you have any great tips for raising chickens, share them with me,” the 65-year-old wrote in the lengthy caption of her July 29 Instagram video post.

A few days after the announcement, DeGenres shared some videos on Instagram of her inside of the coup playing with the chickens.

The purchase of the couple’s new pet chickens comes nearly a month after they joined Kris Jenner and her longtime friend Corey Gamble on a yacht where the group spent the day sailing the waters off Mallorca, Spain.

Jenner shared a collage of images from the hunting adventure on her Instagram account on July 11.
