She earned her nickname ‘The Body’ just a few years into her career thanks to her sensational swimwear shoots.
And nearly four decades later, Elle Macpherson has proven she still deserves the nickname as she made an impact in a glamorous new campaign for Karen Millen.
The Australian catwalk star, who turns 60 next year, posed in a green satin blazer jacket in her new role as part of the high street retailer’s new Icon series.
The look was reminiscent of one of Elle’s stunning early runway looks from 1999.
The clothing collection is inspired by the supermodel and another shot shows her posing in a white dress.

The model, who is mom to sons Flynn, 25, and Cy, 20, from her relationship with financier Arpad Busson, is currently dating Texas-born musician Doyle Bramhall II.
She recently said that aging gracefully is about “taking care of your body” not “workouts and diets” and that “genetics can only take you so far.”
She told Red magazine that she wasn’t worried about getting older and doesn’t feel the pressure to look a certain way anymore.
“I’m much more interested in my well-being,” she said.

In October, Elle’s new boyfriend was identified as Texas-born musician Doyle Bramhall II.
It was said that things were already getting “serious” between the couple, who traveled the world together, Australian magazine New Idea reported.
A source told the publication, “Elle and Doyle have known each other for a while, but their friendship has recently turned romantic.”
‘It’s getting serious. Elle travels the world with Doyle and already knows his two adult daughters. He adores her and is also very supportive of her work in the wellness area,” they added.
Daily Mail Australia contacted its representative for comment at the time.
Doyle, who is best known for working with Eric Clapton and Roger Waters, was previously in a relationship with Renee Zellweger for seven years before they split in 2019.
The guitarist confirmed the romance when he shared a photo on Instagram of him and Elle gazing fondly at each other backstage at Clapton’s concert in Switzerland.
Elle confirmed her split with disgraced former British doctor Andrew Wakefield, who is a hero of the “anti-vax” movement.
Her spokesperson revealed the news to Daily Mail Australia in a statement last December, saying the couple had actually split “almost two years ago”.
Wakefield, originally from Berkshire, was stricken from the medical registry in 2010 after his research showing the alleged link between the MMR shots and autism came to light as an “elaborate fraud.”
His false claims led to a decline in childhood vaccinations and renewed outbreaks of measles.
Elle was previously married to French fashion photographer Gilles Bensimon from 1986 to 1989 and American billionaire Jeffrey Soffer from 2013 to 2017.
She shares two sons, Flynn and Cy, with another ex-partner, French financier Arpad Busson.
