Elle King has lost HALF her weight after reaching 284lbs when pregnant two years ago as she shares slim-down secrets: ‘Doesn’t happen overnight’

Country crooner Elle King has lost weight.

The 34-year-old Los Angeles singer recently slimmed down in a black mini dress, as seen in images shared on Instagram this week.

The daughter of 50 First Dates actor Rob Schneider said she’s half her size since she lost weight after welcoming her son Lucky Levi two years ago.

“Almost two years postpartum,” the blonde performer wrote in her caption.

During pregnancy, the six-foot-tall star weighed in at 284 pounds.

She hasn’t said how much she weighs now, but it looks like she weighs half that weight, about 140 pounds.

The Ex’s and Oh’s hitmaker welcomed Lucky in September 2021.

But she had a hard time when she suffered from depression and exhaustion during her pregnancy.

King also wrote in her caption, “I’m posting this to share my journey from 284 pounds at 5’3 from 2021 pregnancy – now 2023.

“It doesn’t happen overnight. It hasn’t even happened to me in a year. Actually, it is a continuous, still working towards ever-changing goals.’

She explained how she felt terrible after giving birth.

“During my pregnancy I fell into a very deep depression,” she said. “I also didn’t even realize how intense postpartum depression is and was until I started to crawl out of it very slowly. I felt trapped in my body. I couldn’t even sing.’

One day she decided to start exercising to fight the blues.

She started slowly with easy movements that didn’t stress her.

“I did light cardio to warm up my body, my lungs, my voice and my mind” before I “felt my body getting stronger.”

And she said, if you don’t have a personal trainer then “be your own champion.”

Elle said, ‘Find music you like! Misuse! Going swimming! I thought I wanted to lose weight, but it’s so much more.

“My BRAIN functions better on the days when I move my body,” she added.

“Some days I count stretch marks. Some days I hug myself and thank my body. Today is a friendly day. I’ve been small, I’ve been huge, BUT NOW I’M HEALTHY.”

She seems much better now than she did in December when she fell. resulting in a concussion and amnesia.

The singer told Entertainment tonight“I can laugh now because I’m a lot better, but it was very intense,” she said.

Elle was walking down the stairs in the middle of the night to make a bottle of milk for her son Lucky Levi, 16 months, when she slipped and fell.

Elle has been doing physical therapy throughout her recovery process, specifically stretching and “quiet downtime.”

She was home alone with her son Lucky during the accident.

Elle explained the accident during the interview: “I was walking down our stairs in the middle of the night to make a bottle, and I slipped and knocked myself unconscious.”

Adding: ‘I can laugh now because I’m a lot better, but it was very intense. They said I had amnesia and post-concussion.”

“But the baby’s fine, and I’m a lot better,” Elle said.

“What I love about Nashville is the community that I haven’t really had in any of the last cities I’ve lived in, even though I’ve had a bunch of friends,” she noted.

“There is something beautiful about this city and about my friends and my musical family. They all gathered around me and were all so supportive and showed up for me and helped me with the baby.”

Elle and fiance Dan Tooker, a tattoo artist, welcomed son Lucky Levi on September 1, 2021.

Dan proposed to Elle in October 2020 after being in a relationship for a year.

The Playing For Keeps singer is the daughter of actor Rob Schneider and London King.
