Elle Fanning steps out to discuss The Great at FYC Fest 2023… after controversial reveal
Elle Fanning was all smiles as she promoted her hit Hulu series The Great at FYC Fest 2023… after a controversial revelation.
The 25-year-old actress appeared on a panel at FYC Fest with Kerry Washington, Gina Rodriguez and Janelle James at the DGA Theater on Wednesday.
The outing comes just a day after she revealed in a roundtable that she missed out on a role when she was just 16 because she was told she was “unf***able.”
Fanning stepped out in an off-white blouse tucked into a matching off-white skirt that fell to her ankles.
The actress wore a silver watch and silver ring for the panel event on Wednesday.

She completed her look in nude, open-toed heels for the event.
Fanning started acting when she was just three years old, following in the footsteps of her older sister Dakota.
The actress told The Hollywood Reporters comedic actress roundtable of the “disgusting” moment she lost the role in an unspecified family movie.
“I never told this story, but I tried out a movie. I did not get it. I don’t even think they ever made it, but it was a father-daughter road trip comedy,” she said.
“I haven’t heard from my agents because they wouldn’t tell me stuff like this — that filtering system is really important because there are probably a lot more harmful comments that they’ve filtered out — but this one hit me,” she continued.
“I was 16 years old and someone said, ‘Oh, she didn’t get the father-daughter road trip comedy because she can’t,'” Fanning said.
‘It’s so disgusting. And I can laugh about it now, like, “What a disgusting pig!”
The star added that she always felt “hugely confident” growing up in the public eye and didn’t feel like the early fame was hurting her.

Elle has been busy with her successful Hulu series titled The Great, with the third season officially premiering on the streaming site last month.
Created by Tony McNamara, the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series also stars Nicholas Hoult, Sacha Dhawan, Phoebe Fox and Adam Godley.
The third season continues to follow Elle’s character, Empress Catherine, and her husband, Peter III (Nicholas), concluding the 10-episode season with shocking twists and turns.
