Elizabeth Grove Road Rage Attack: Driver rips side mirror out of car before smashing window in Adelaide

Shocking footage captured the moment a driver ripped a car’s side mirror and smashed a window during an unprovoked road rage.

Belinda Reynolds, 58, was waiting at traffic lights on Main North Road in Elizabeth Grove, north Adelaide, on Wednesday.

A woman, wearing a pink crop top and black pants, suddenly began attacking her vehicle, the confrontation being captured on camera by a nearby motorist.

The stranger, who wore glasses and had her dark hair tied back, first pushed Mrs. Reynolds’ window, then kicked off the side mirror.

It took her two tries to get the mirror completely off, and two more to smash the driver’s side window with it.

Ms Reynolds said she had no idea what triggered the attack, which caused extensive damage to her car and left her with cuts to her hands and face.

She said, “I don’t care, call them.”

The shocked driver told 9News she didn’t know ‘why she was so angry or mad at what. When the glass broke, I panicked.’

Ms Reynold’s daughter shared her outrage on social media and called on witnesses to contact South Australian police.

“My poor mother was the fucking victim of this crazy son of a bitch – contact Crime Stoppers if you saw anything,” she wrote on Instagram.

In the comments section of another social media post, she wrote, “This is my mom’s car!!!

“She’s almost 60, she has scratches on her face and hands. She was terrified.’

Commentators expressed their condolences and hoped her mother was well.

“However, it’s so unfair: she will now have to cover all the financial costs that this thing of a human’s car has caused,” she replied.

“She’s so grateful that the community is willing to help and that this is even being posted.”

Daily Mail Australia understands that the woman in the center of the video has been identified and police have spoken to her. No arrests have been made.
