An elderly woman has claimed she lost her $260,000 Tampa Bay home after her neighbor convinced her to sign a blank sheet of paper – which he then used to take ownership of her land.
Susan Eatman, 80, of Thonotosassa, said Mark Oliver approached her in April with a “high-pressure sales tactic” and a blank sheet of paper, which he begged her to sign.
Oliver operates a farm next to the family’s 8-acre property in Hillsborough County — and shortly after the harassment, Eatman’s home changed hands.
Now the family is desperately trying to get the house back into their possession.
Eatman told it WFLA: ‘We were at a birthday dinner. He was very aggressive. He keeps saying just sign the paper and I say “I’m not signing anything, I don’t even know you”.
She admitted, “I signed it. A blank sheet of paper.’

The woman said she hadn’t even seen Oliver before the encounter.
She soon realized she was in trouble. She added, “I did something stupid.”
Eatman believes her neighbor used her signature and placed it on a quitclaim deed, removing her name from the property.
She said Fox news: ‘There was a detective who investigated and spoke to everyone and said it was fraudulent. We will do everything we can to get it back.
“My parents paid for that property and they wanted it to be Jackie’s.”
Eatman’s sister, Jaquelyn “Jackie” White, lives in the house on the disputed property and is named in the lawsuit.

According to Oliver, she was compensated with $40,000, an air conditioning unit and health care payments.
Oliver said Jackie gave him permission to “put his animals on her property.”
According to the sheriff’s report, White was also made to sign a “blank” piece of paper.
Investigators with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office say surveillance video shows Oliver in an office filing paperwork with the alleged forged signature.
The matter now lies with the prosecutor, who has not yet filed charges.
Bryant Camareno, Oliver’s criminal defense attorney, told 8 On Your Side, “My client has not been charged with a crime. And he was not found guilty of a crime.”
Oliver claimed that “the deed is not fraudulent and was not signed under fraudulent terms.
