Famous fast food chain El Jannah is about to open a new store just minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, with its iconic charcoal chicken And garlic sauce.

City residents will be served at their beck and call $5 meals at the festive opening of the new one Kensington store on Saturday, October 19.

For the first time, Melburnians who work or live in the CBD can order fan favorite menu items – including the legendary grilled chicken, pickles, tabouli and Lebanese bread.

To celebrate the launch, El Jannah offers one $5 meal dealincluding 1/4 Fire-grilled charcoal chicken Lebanese style, crispy chips sprinkled with the iconic chicken salt, garlic sauce and a can of drink.

‘Tell your mother, tell a friend… El Jannah opens in Kensington this Saturday,” the restaurant announced on social media.

‘Mark your calendars – we know you’ve been waiting (not so patiently) for ours arrival – Better late than never.’

Fans of the fast food chain have expressed their enthusiasm about the new location – with one saying: ‘Finally… it’s about time.’

There are currently 10 El Jannah locations in Victoria – but for the first time, Melbourne CBD residents will be able to enjoy the familiar menu items from the new Kensington store.

Many fans demanded El Jannah to roll out more restaurants near their homes, with the chain confirming: ‘We are constantly growing and we look forward to opening new restaurants locations throughout Australia.

From humble beginnings

The first El Jannah restaurant opened in Granville in Western Sydney in 1998.

Founders Andre and Carole Estephan pursued a dream: starting their own company with simple but delicious products Lebanese-Australian foodwith them famous charcoal chicken in the heart of the menu.

El Jannah has always been made to be shared with family and friends. Now it’s being shared with a rapidly growing group of adoring customers, as one of Australia’s fastest growing high-speed services restaurants.
