Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu has revealed that none of this year’s Love Island contestants had sex on the show, as she admitted the cameras were “everywhere.”
Despite islanders often being known for their raunchy behavior, the 28-year-old attributed the lack of intimacy to the villa’s layout — explaining that each bed was just inches apart.
The Turkish star, who won the show with friend Davide Sanclimenti, also praised ITV2’s level of support during the show, calling it “extreme concern,” as she recalled the vigilant process.

Talking in a new interview with the guardEkin-Su confirmed that no one was under the sheets this year, citing the villa’s sleek layout.
‘It’s a new villa. There is so much space [she indicates about 10 inches] between the beds. Who would have sex if there were cameras everywhere?” she explained.
And revealing that she and beau Davide waited even longer after they left, the star added: “Even when I left the villa with Davide, we couldn’t really relax. The time was not right.’

Love Island has been the target of its duty of care several times in the past and has been criticized for not taking enough action on mental health.
And fans again quickly raised eyebrows this year, accusing contestant Luca Bish and Dami Hope of “bullying” Tasha Ghouri while wondering why producers didn’t intervene.
On the contrary, Ekin-Su described the extremely vigilant duty of care imposed on the participants, explaining that you were “taken care of like a baby.”
“If I cut my finger, there would be a medical team within two minutes. With a plaster and a paracetamol. It’s ridiculous. I think it’s extreme concern,” she shared.

While she will also star again as a celebrity contestant on Dancing On Ice, alongside her and Davide’s own travel show.

But since leaving the villa, the star explains that she’s realized that “natural beauty is better” by dyeing her hair back to the natural chocolate shade last week.
And she shared that she also plans to dissolve any lip fillers she has, Ekin-Su continued: “I like natural beauty much more.
