Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu rejects Dancing On Ice Ofcom’s complaints as he returns to rehearsals

Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu got to work on Thursday when she was spotted training with fellow Dancing On Ice member Brendyn Hatfield.

The 28-year-old former Love Island star is preparing to face another celebrity in this Sunday’s skate-off to fight for his place in the competition, after receiving the fewest votes during the launch show.

She appears to have dismissed the controversy surrounding her performance, which was dubbed the show’s “sexiest ever” performance and led to over 100 complaints from Ofcom.

Training for the show, Ekin-Su donned a pair of bright red leggings with a gray sweatshirt, which had “Paris” printed on the front.

Her brunette tresses were let down into a straight style as she opted for a natural palette of tanned makeup.

While his partner Brendyn rocked a pair of gray pants with a black hoodie as he guided the star across the ice.

Practice makes perfect: The pair practiced a series of lifts while honing the performance before the next Sunday’s skate.

Many were quick to criticize Ekin-Su’s sequin-adorned jumpsuit, which was a recreation of the one worn by Britney Spears in her Toxic music video, that the reality star was dancing around.

While the actress also crawled across the ice during the performance, an ode to the famous Love Island scene in which she crawled across the villa’s terrace to kiss her compatriot Jay Younger behind her partner Davide Sanclimenti’s back.

The sultry routine also saw her lie on her back and be swept into the arms of her partner Brendyn, complete with plenty of animated facial expressions.

But while they agreed that the star certainly had sex appeal, they expected a bit more from the performance.

‘It was very sexy. But what I want most is skating,” Judge Jayne Torvill said. Ashley agreed as she said, “Skate on your own without holding on to Brendyn, show us what you can do.”

Busy: Brendyn and Ekin-Su seemed to be working hard for training while staying focused.

Working on it: Giving feedback on the above performance, the judges explained that they wanted to see more skating and less of Ekin-Su clinging to her partner.
