The couple had a turbulent 18-month relationship since they first met in the Love Island villa in 2022, winning the show’s £50,000 prize money together.
Shortly after their split, she starred in Celebrity Big Brother, but skipped the final after her management felt she was too ‘vulnerable’ to return in light of her turbulent time on the ITV series and subsequent appearance of a drama-filled spin-off show.
A source close to Ekin-Su told MailOnline that her decision to take part in the series had backfired and that she regretted signing up, especially so soon after her split from Davide in January.
Ekin-Su became embroiled in a bullying row after being booed by the studio audience, teased by guest star Layton Williams and mocked by presenters AJ Adudu and Will Best, the latter calling her ‘Ekin Boo Hoo Hoo’, during her stint on ITV2’s Late & Live shortly after her deportation.
It comes after news that Ekin-Su has vowed to expose everything in her impressive memoir, including what really happened in her relationship with Davide before their divorce.
In her new tell-all book, she will open up about childhood trauma and bullying, and look back on her experiences taking part in reality shows such as Love Island, The traitors We and Famous big brother.
She said The sun: ‘It’s everything, my experience with Davide, there’s a lot in it. I’m done hiding. I’m done lying and protecting other people, this is my truth.’
She added that writing the book felt “like therapy” and said she “wants people to know me, not the work I’ve done or the wrongdoers I date.”

Cracks appeared in her relationship with Davide, less than a month after they won Love Island as a couple in the summer of 2022.
Hunky Davide was spotted leaving a party with two blondes in August that year.
Ekin-Su said she was left in tears after learning of the incident, insisting she did not want to believe Davide would treat her badly.
When she asked him “how could you do this to me,” she claims he simply replied, “Excuse me?”
While filming their ITV2 show Homecomings, Ekin-Su said she saw pictures of Davide with women on his phone.
He claims she saw images of two blonde girls at his flat in Manchester wearing his clothes.
Ekin-Su didn’t want to make anything of the situation at the time because they were being filmed.
The television personality further claimed that Davide cheated on her with a girl named Harriet Wilson, with Harriet contacting Ekin-Su to tell her.
Ekin-Su said that at another point, Davide left his laptop open and she saw sexually explicit messages between him and a girl she met on New Year’s Eve.
She said seeing those messages “broke something in me.”
Shortly after their split, she starred in Celebrity Big Brother, but skipped the final after her management felt she was too ‘vulnerable’ to return.

When Ekin-Su went away to film the US version of The Traitors (pictured) last September, she returned to Britain to hear Davide was partying with another woman.
Actress Ekin-Su said she didn’t want to be embarrassed amid the cheating allegations, so she tried her best not to respond publicly, but also wanted to protect Davide.
Davide was later seen snorting a suspicious white powder in Ibiza while Ekin-Su was at home in Britain.
When Ekin-Su went away to film the US version of The Traitors last September, she returned to Britain to find that Davide had been partying in Manchester with her love rival Harriet.
It is also claimed that he went on a secret holiday to Morocco with an OnlyFans model, but did not tell Ekin-Su the truth when he returned.
