Ekin-Su Cülcüloğluin shares her reaction after Vanessa Hudgens reveals she’s watching Love Island

Love Island’s Ekin-Su Cülcüloğluin was delighted on Saturday to discover her ‘youth idol’ was watching the ITV2 dating show.

Vanessa Hudgens, 33, took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of her feet in the tub sitting back and relaxing while watching Love Island.

Ekin-Su, 28, who was crowned the winner of this year’s series along with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, was shocked to discover the social media snap.

The Turkish actress re-shared the post, writing ‘My childhood idol is watching the show!’

Earlier this year, Vanessa told the PA news agency, “Love Island really had me hooked, so I was there every step of the way.

“It’s just really interesting to see how people process things and how people recognize love.

‘I will definitely agree’ [on Monday]. I’m still for it. I want to see how everyone finds love and how things get messy along the way.’

The Turkish actress, who was crowned the winner of this year’s series along with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, shared the post again, writing “My childhood idol is watching the show!”

Ekin-Su and Davide were crowned the winners of Love Island 2022 and voting figures have revealed they secured more than half of the public vote.

viewers could vote for their favorite couple to be crowned winners and take home the £50,000 cash prize – which was not offered as a ‘split or steal’ deal for the first time.

And the final voting figures released by ITV have revealed that fan favorites Ekin-Su and Davide, both 27, took a whopping 63.69 per cent of the public vote.

They won the ITV2 dating competition with a landslide title, as runner-up Gemma and Luca garnered just 14.47 per cent of the final viewer’s vote.

Gemma and Luca followed in second, while Indiyah and Dami finished in third and Tasha and Andrew in fourth.

Ekin-Su signed a £1m deal with Oh Polly last month, making it the biggest collaboration in Love Island history.

She told MailOnline that she is ‘living the dream’ after leaving the Mallorcan Villa in a flurry of exciting opportunities as she posed in her latest photoshoot for the brand.

The Turkish beauty who recently made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week also gushed about her relationship with boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti after flying to America to show his support.

About her most recent work, Ekin-Su told MailOnline, “I’ve been living the American dream since I got out of the villa — being in New York for Fashion Week was truly a dream come true.

“If you had told me six months ago that I was walking down a runway, I would never have believed you! I can’t wait to come back and show people what I’ve been working on.

“It was also a very special journey for our relationship, because we can finally do real things for boyfriends and girlfriends, explore the city and have time to ourselves. Davide makes me so happy!’
