The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) reported 46 close call incidents in July.
A JetBlue flight landing at Boston’s Logan International Airport nearly collided with a private jet that took off without permission earlier this year.
U.S. airlines are slamming the FAA for air traffic control staffing shortages, which they say has led to canceled and delayed flights during the record-breaking travel season.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport ranks fourth as one of the worst airports in America.
The rankings were based on overall customer satisfaction as passengers return to pre-pandemic travel levels.
