The charge relates to failure to comply with an order from an independent disciplinary commission to deposit an amount equal to 125 percent of the club’s scheduled monthly wage bill into a designated account by September 12.
Reading lost three points on September 13 due to non-compliance with the order, which was imposed after the club failed to pay players’ salaries on time and in full around October 31 and November 30 last year, and April 28 of this year. year.
Confirming that Dai had been charged, an EFL statement added: “The League considers that these further proceedings against him personally are necessary given the repeated failures to meet the club’s funding requirements which have only one detrimental impact on the club and its wider stakeholders.”
“This matter will now be reviewed by an independent disciplinary committee in accordance with EFL regulations.”
