The ensemble also featured cheetah print details and clung to her frame as she stopped by the screening at the Walter Reade Theater.

Lashana played the role of Bianca in The Day Of The Jackal, an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Frederick Forsythe.

The premise of the series is: ‘A manhunt is underway for a dangerous, elusive killer known only as the Jackal. [Redmayne],’ per one IMDB summary.

In addition to Lynch and Redmayne, other stars cast in the project include Ursula Corbero, Charles Dance and Richard Dormer.

It comes after fans of Eddie have claimed that the British actor could be the ‘next’ James Bond‘ after pouring in over his torn body a new trailer for the new series The Day of the Jackal.

The Day of the Jackal is adapted from Frederick Forsyth’s novel of the same name and stars Redmayne – who reportedly earned $1,299,550 per episode – as the titular character, a ruthless assassin pursued by a British intelligence officer Bianca.

Eddie – who is being dubbed by fans as the 'next James Bond' – also walked the red carpet in black trousers and a matching blazer and white shirt with dramatic collars underneath

The dramatic trailer, which forms the backdrop to the Radiohead song Everything In Its Right Place, begins with the Jackal killing someone using a sniper rifle, as Bianca describes him as “an exceptional assassin, who will kill again” before claiming : ‘I know I can find him.’

The two-and-a-half-minute clip, which has been labeled an ‘imitator’, shows Redmayne’s dangerous character traveling the world for work and seems to hint at a romance with a woman named Nuria (Úrsula Corberó).

In one scene she asks him, “What are you doing?” to which he responds, “If I told you the truth, I’m going to lose you,” before a man working next to Bianca tells her, “This is a wild goose chase and it’s not helping our department’s reputation,” while she becomes frustrated with the task of finding the Jackal.

Viewers get a glimpse of a topless Redmayne in the trailer and fans raved about his transformation for the action-packed role, declaring he could be the next 007.

Commenting on the trailer on YouTube, one person wrote: “Never thought of Eddie Redmayne for Bond until now,” while another claimed: “The guy’s intro promises he could be the next James Bond… Just my two cents.’

A third person urged: “Make him the next James Bond already!” while another said: ‘Ah, it’s the new 007.’

The Les Misérables actor appeared on Today last week morning and spoke to host Savannah Guthrie about his latest role and wearing a prosthetic bald cap in one scene.

“There are surreal moments, there were a few of these looks,” he explained. ‘Of course the prosthetics stick to your chest, so if your top was off it would look very bizarre.

“But what I like about the piece is that it really invests in the artistry of the prosthetic artists and all the intricacies of sculpting these things and how you put them on.

‘And one of the oddities’ was I talked to one of the prosthetic artists who described how many of these spy agencies are now using that because there’s all facial recognition.”

Redmayne also revealed that he worked with a “kind of military and espionage consultant” who taught him various techniques on how to walk down the street and look at the reflections in car windows and mirrors to see people discreetly.

The Day of the Jackal starts on Peacock on November 14.
