Eddie Murphy said that if he ever got the chance to reprise his role as Donkey from Shrek, “I would do it without hesitation.”
The 61-year-old comedian has recently been recreating some of his most iconic roles. He is bringing back Axle Foley from Beverly Hills Cop and recently returned as Prince Akeem in Coming 2 America.
The comedy icon sat down with speak earlier this week and said, ‘I would absolutely be open if they ever came up with another Shrek; I would do it in two seconds. I love Donkey.

Murphy expected Donkey to be considered for his own role, saying, “You know, they made Puss in Boots movies.”

Murphy explained that a spinoff film starring Donkey would be up to DreamWorks.

Earlier this week, Eddie appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to promote his upcoming culture shock comedy film, You People.
