Production on Eddie Murphy and Keke Palmer’s upcoming film The Pickup has been halted after several crew members were injured in an accident on set in Atlanta.

Murphy, 63, and Palmer, 30, were previously spotted filming on set, but filming has now been paused following an incident that took place on Saturday, according to reports The Hollywood Reporter.

The accident occurred during a “second unit action sequence” that had been rehearsed earlier, an Amazon spokesperson said.

“Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several crew members were injured,” the spokesperson said.

“We are still gathering facts about what happened and why, but first and foremost our thoughts are with those who are recovering.”

The injuries “ranged from bumps and bruises to broken bones.”

‘The crew union IATSE also released a statement saying: ‘IATSE is aware of an accident that occurred on the Georgia set of The Pickup and has initiated an investigation.’

However, the plot of the film is being kept secret Deadline reports that the film will be a heist comedy.

The film also stars Eva Longoria and Pete Davidson.
