- Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could finally meet in the near future
- Eddie Hearn has revealed the British pair could fight each other twice
- He has also claimed that one of the fights will take place at Wembley Stadium
Eddie Hearn has revealed that Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury could sign a two-fight deal to finally face each other, with one of the fights possibly taking place at Wembley Stadium.
Joshua submitted Francis Ngannou in two rounds in Saudi Arabia earlier this month and has now had three of his last five fights in the Middle East.
Fury also fought Ngannou in Saudi Arabia last time out, and will return there in May for his undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk.
A win for Fury could set up a fight against Joshua, but fans have grown concerned the pair may not meet on British soil as Saudi power broker Turki Alalshikh can offer boxers lucrative money to fight in the Middle East.
However, Joshua’s promoter Hearn has raised hopes that his charges and Fury could meet in Britain, even claiming Alalshikh is looking into it.

According to Hearn, one of the fights could take place at Wembley Stadium
“This is a gentleman called Turki Alalshikh, who is obviously a very influential figure in sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia,” Hearn said. The sports agents podcast.
“He’s also the biggest fight fan I’ve ever met. And amazingly, he’s now talking about hosting two Fury vs. AJ fights: one in Saudi Arabia and one at Wembley Stadium.’
Joshua and Fury have both fought at Wembley before and had some of their best boxing nights at the iconic venue.
AJ defeated Wladimir Klitschko in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley in 2017, rising from the canvas to stop the Ukrainian in the 11th round of a back-and-forth match.
He returned the following year to knock out Russian Alexander Povetkin in the seventh round.
Fury also triumphed at the national team stadium when he defeated compatriot Dillian Whyte in 2022.

Hearn would like to bring a Joshua-Fury fight to Wembley and insists Alalshikh is on board, but admits it is inevitable that big fights will continue to take place in Saudi Arabia in the coming months and years.
Of Alalshikh, Hearn said: “He’s one of those guys who listens and reads everything.
‘So people have definitely read about him: ‘I wish this fight was at Wembley’, or ‘It’s a shame the fight is in Saudi Arabia’.
‘I mean we really need to have a more global view in the sport, boxing isn’t just about two Brits here, fighting for the undisputed world championship, I think he would probably bring one of them to Britain, really . . And that they have the financial opportunity to do so.’
