Eddie Hearn has admitted he and Frank Warren would be 'idiots' if they did not work together for the good of boxing.
Both promoters are in Saudi Arabia for the 'Day of Reckoning' card, which promises to massively help boxing in the Middle East two days before Christmas.
The likes of Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Daniel Dubois are on a star-studded card, with both Warren and Hearn representing fighters set to compete on Saturday.
Both promoters have historically been rivals for a number of years, perhaps none more so than during the negotiations over a potential showdown between Joshua and Warren's Tyson Fury.
But the pair have come together to help promote Saturday's card, and joined up to talk to DAZN, with both men explaining the surprise partnership.

“There's always a rivalry,” Hearn said. 'I'm sure there will be rivalry next week, but we're not idiots.
“We love the sport and when there are huge opportunities for our fighters, our company and the sport of boxing, we would be plonkers if we didn't try to make this work.
'We had a nice evening last night and maybe afterwards we thought he was that bad.
'But it's exciting. “I've never been involved in anything like this before and like I said, regardless of the rivalry, we love the sport and this is a huge opportunity for boxing.”
And boxing fans have a lot more to look forward to now that two of the biggest promoters in the sport are now seemingly on the same page.
That's a statement from Warren himself, with a big 2024 seemingly on the agenda.
Hearn said there will always be a rivalry between him and Warren, but they have learned that working together is best.
Warren teased “something really, really big” between he and Hearn as they enter the new year
“Look, like Eddie said, we can't afford to let this get screwed up, and we won't,” Warren said. “Everyone is like-minded because at the end of the day it's about the fighters and the fighters get life-changing money for these fights.
“We cannot stand in the way of them, for any reason, so that they will happen. Next year there will be more bigger fights, we will work on that.
“We're going to be working together on quite a few events, and I'm looking forward to it because I think this is the start of something very, very big.”
