‘So I did some surprise pop-up gigs in fans’ homes, secretly recording an Autumn Variations live album, with each song recorded in a different fan’s living room, but it was all a total surprise,” he said.

One of the sessions, recorded with fan Kari, includes a version of his song Wake Me Up from his + album.

The tune was included in the video after Sheeran discovered Kari had a piano.

The series, called Autumn Variations Fan Living Room Sessions, was released on October 2 and is available on You Tube.
