During a Queensland hospital visit, a teen made all her dreams come true when she got to sing along with the pop star.
Keasine Latu, who is thankfully cancer free, was lucky enough to not only meet her idol and hear some of his biggest hits, but also share a special moment with him as they sang a duet.
She told the Today Show on Channel 9 that she was “very nervous” but that it was the best experience of her life.
“They put me on the spot, the cameraman told him that he could sing and he was in front of everyone, so I started singing,” he told the show.
“It was the best thing I’ve ever experienced in my entire life, meeting Ed Sheeran was incredible.”
A hospital staff member said Ed seemed to “really want to be there” as he chatted with patients before and after the performance.
“He really sat down, got into a conversation with the kids, finding out where they were from, their stories, which was really lovely,” they said.

I choked a bit. I was so gobsmacked because he was right next to me, and he was singing and I was so nervous I forgot the lyrics,” one viewer said.
Ed has just wrapped up three shows in Brisbane and will be playing two shows in Sydney this weekend before heading to Melbourne and Adelaide.
He was pictured on the Byron Bay beach on Sunday with his wife Cherry Seaborn, 30, and their two children, Lyra Antarctica, two, and Jupiter, nine months.
Ed and Cherry are childhood sweethearts, having grown up in the same town. They rekindled their romance in 2014 and tied the knot in a small ceremony five years later.
