Ed Sheeran once spent an awkward Thanksgiving surprise with Friends icon Jennifer Aniston.
The British singer, 32, who has been friends with 54-year-old Aniston’s BFF Courteney Cox, 59, previously revealed how his casual attire made for a funny moment during the celebration.
Castle On The Hill hitmaker Sheeran – who was this week pictured with wife Cherry Seaborn for the first time in eight months – previously said of the 2013 meeting: ‘I ended up in the studio and called my friend.
“He said, ‘I’m at Jen’s house and we’re just feeling cold,’ so I said, ‘Okay.’
“Then I came over…and they’re having a real Thanksgiving meal and I’m there and I think I had my board shorts on or something. It was fun.’

In the snap, a smiling Aniston wore a simple black dress and silver necklace as she posed with Sheeran who wore a mint green T-shirt.
Ed and Courteney, 59, have been friends for more than 10 years and the songwriter even introduced the Friends star to her partner Johnny McDaid, who is in the band Snow Patrol.
The pair first met during an appearance on The Late Late Show with James Corden before a mutual friend invited Sheeran to Cox’s house for a get-together.
In 2014, Sheeran revealed how he had been temporarily living in Cox’s beach house in Malibu – without paying rent.
The Suffolk-born star stayed at the brunette’s property for several months while he wrote material for his album.
And instead of cold, hard cash, he repaid the favor by doing housework.
He told The Sun newspaper: ‘There was no rent but I made the bed and the cups of tea and things like that. If you’re staying with a friend, treat it as your own.

Ed and Cherry made their first public outing together in eight months on Monday when they went for dinner at The Araki in London’s Mayfair.
The couple – who tied the knot in 2019 – have always kept their relationship low-key, but Ed sparked concerns among fans when he hinted at marital problems in his latest album.
Released in September, Autumn Variations seemed to suggest their relationship was on the rocks at some point, with one song hinting that 31-year-old Cherry “may have spent time on their relationship.”
During their date night, Ed and Cherry looked cheerful but kept their distance, with the Grammy-winning artist reserving his hugs for passersby on the street.
Ed and Cherry have been together since 2015 and are parents to daughters Jupiter, 17 months, and Lyra, two.
