Ed Sheeran leaves a bride and groom speechless after crashing their Vegas wedding to perform a track from his forthcoming album
Ed Sheeran made a newlywed’s dream come true by celebrating their wedding ceremony this week, while giving fans a taste of what to expect from his upcoming album.
The savvy singer, who never shies away from a promotional opportunity, serenaded the stunned bride and groom with the opening track from his seventh studio album, Autumn Variations.
Sheeran, 32, had plenty of time on his hands after canceling his show at Allegiant Stadium in Nevada’s gambling mecca due to “safety concerns.”
And just like his recent surprise performance at a LEGO store in Minnesota, he used it wisely by promoting his new music — much to the bride and groom’s delight.
Armed with an acoustic guitar, the singer-songwriter made a surprise appearance at the legendary Little White Chapel in Las Vegas – where the young couple was exchanging vows.

The British star was joined by four backup singers as they entered the small church, famous for its Elvis Presley-themed weddings and drive-thru tunnel of love.
In the presence of a visibly shocked bride and groom, Sheeran and his singers started with an acoustic rendition of the new song Magical.
The singer later posed for photos with the couple after watching them fulfill their vows and share their first kiss as husband and wife.
Sheeran was also pictured holding their marriage certificate after appearing to sign it.
Sharing a video of the moment with Instagram followers on Monday, he wrote: “A wedding crashed, this is magical.”
Sheeran is in considerable form as a wedding crasher, having previously made a surprise appearance at a wedding in Australia in 2015.
The singer was on hand to perform at the bride and groom’s first dance in Sydney, arranged by popular local radio DJs Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O’ Henderson.
On Instagram, Sheeran shared a photo with beaming newlyweds Kya and Matt Debono and their children.

The singer canceled his concert stop in Las Vegas on Saturday, just hours before he was due to take the stage, fearing the floor would collapse.
Sheeran was scheduled to perform for concertgoers during his North American trek at Allegiant Stadium, just below the Vegas Strip.
However, the Grammy winner admitted it wouldn’t happen in a statement shared with Instagram followers.
“I can’t believe I’m typing this, but we’ve encountered some challenges while loading up on our Vegas show,” he wrote.
‘It’s impossible to continue with the show. I’m very sorry. I know everyone has traveled for this and I wish I could change it.”
It is understood a safety issue caused the cancellation, after an issue with the floor was noticed as Sheeran’s team brought their gear in for soundcheck.
According to The Sun, the rubber tiles had become loose, causing two tall towers to sink by about a foot overnight.
Despite attempts by engineers to strengthen the towers, they were still shifting, forcing the show to be canceled.

A source told the publication: “Health and safety are of paramount importance at performances of any size and scale – but even more so in a 65,000-seat NFL stadium.
‘The problem was with the floor rather than the stage itself, but Ed and his team fought for 24 hours to save the show.
“He was obviously upset that they couldn’t make it happen, but it was completely out of his control and it was the right decision to protect his fans.”
Sheeran revealed that Saturday’s show would be postponed to next month, writing: ‘The performance will be postponed to Saturday 28th October and all tickets purchased are valid for that date. I’m so sorry x.”
Allegiant Stadium had hinted at unclear issues earlier in the day, taking to Twitter to inform concertgoers that the show would be “significantly postponed.”
However, in another recent update, the stadium tweeted: ‘Tonight’s Ed Sheeran concert has been moved to Saturday October 28th. Previously purchased tickets remain valid for the rescheduled date.’
