Ed Sheeran showed his affection for Marvel by holding Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, in a photo included in his 2023 recap, shared to his Instagram account on Sunday.
In the snap, the 32-year-old singer posed next to Chris Hemsworth, who portrays the superhero, and the two held the handle of the Norse god's signature weapon.
The hitmaker, who recently posted a loved-up photo with his wife Cherry, also wrote a short message in the caption of his post that read: “Having a nice one yes, nice one, I love you.”
The pair's meeting took place last February, when Sheeran traded one of his guitars for the superhero's weapon.
Footage of the pair's meeting was shared on Hemsworth's Instagram account, and the actor, 40, wrote: 'I'll make this guitar sing like no other and you swing that hammer with all your soul. Love you, brother!'

In the clip, the Cabin In The Woods star presented Sheeran with Mjonir, describing the prop as “my own weapon of choice.”
The hitmaker also stated that he was “very interested in trading instruments for trading instruments.”
The songwriter then handed Hemsworth one of the guitars he previously used on stage, and he joked that they had to “act by profession.”
The actor closed his video by striking a pose next to the Shape Of You singer, who declared himself 'worthy' of holding Mjonir.
Sheeran then shared a courtroom sketch that showed him playing his guitar during his copyright trial, which took place last April.
The artist was sued by the heirs of Ed Townsend, who co-wrote Marvin Gaye's hit Let's Get It On, and it was alleged that the singer copied parts of the track for his song Thinking Out Loud.
The songwriter, who appeared in court during his trial, ultimately won his case.
The Grammy Award-winning artist closed his set by sharing several shots of him collaborating with other musicians.
