Ed Gamble leaves Celebrity Hunted viewers in hysterics as he dials into his radio show while on the run with James Acaster – before being labeled the ‘worst fugitive EVER’
Fans of Celebrity Hunted were left in hysterics after Tuesday’s episode, when Ed Gamble risked revealing his location by calling into his radio show.
The comedian usually presents a show on Radio X on Sundays, and despite being on the run decided to call in on the show and taunt the Hunters about his mysterious location.
The tide quickly turned, however, when host Matthew Crosby revealed that Chief Hunter Lisa Theaker had also called the show, and she quickly branded him the “worst fugitive ever.”
Ed has joined forces with James Acaster in an attempt to outrun the Hunters in Hunted’s Stand Up To Cancer celebrity special.
Despite their hilarious failures on their fugitive journey, the episode ended with the pair still at large and determined to reach the final rendezvous point.

Ed had made a surprise appearance on his radio show while on the run from the Hunters, boasting that he and James were calling from an undisclosed location and that the Hunters were ‘fat’ and had been unable to track him down.
At one point, however, host Matthew seemed to let slip that he was ‘in Manchester’ before frantically trying to correct himself.
While Ed seemed certain that the Hunters had no idea where he and James were hiding, he was stunned when it was revealed that Chief Hunter Lisa was on the phone.
She stated, “Oh my God, I’d say he’s the worst fugitive we’ve ever had in Hunted history.”
“We played with him a bit, we followed his movements. Ed holds James back a bit.’
Ed then added, “I find it interesting that the chief over there seems to think she’s in my head for saying that.”
“I know full well that we are terrible fugitives and we absolutely laugh at their expense.”
While James and Ed still ended the episode on the run, their radio cameo sent many viewers into hysterics.

The episode ended with Ed and James continuing to outrun the Hunters, joining the other couples still on the run.
