Echo Church pastor Andrew Sedra comes under fire for vile homophobic sermon

The leader of a Sydney megachurch has sparked outrage after declaring that ‘homosexuality will never be normal’ following a series of vile homophobic church sermons.

The chief pastor and founder of Echo Church in Leumeah, Andrew Sedra, launched the vicious attack on the gay community during pride month.

Established in 2017, the church holds services in a large warehouse-style building with concert-style lighting, rock music, and controversial sermons by Mr. Sedra.

It even sells controversial merchandise, including T-shirts that read, “I’m Gen Z and I’m straight.”

Mr. Sedra has also built up a large following on Instagram, with nearly 40,000 followers and his hateful rants that have garnered thousands of views.

He describes Sydney as “Sodom and Gomorrah 2.0,” referring to the biblical cities destroyed by God after residents were caught committing the “sin” of homosexuality.

Welcome to the progressive cult of secularism. Where Christianity is blasphemy, the Bible is sacrilegious, and failure to celebrate sexual perversion is an unforgivable sin,” he said.

“Pride is the most celebrated virtue, and children are nothing but a sex experiment of our times – caring for children under the guise of education.

“Slaughtering children’s body parts in the name of love, tolerance and diversity. Drag queen sex shows are perverted men who rob our children of innocence.’

During his anti-LGBTQIA+ sermons, the pastor repeatedly warns parents that their children risk being indoctrinated by the LGBTQ+ community if they don’t learn the Bible.

Mr Sedra warns that if children were given such ‘sex education’ they would be in danger of being manipulated into ‘cutting off their body parts to change their gender, perverting God’s design for sexuality and becoming a child sex clown ‘.

“When left-wing politicians say ‘inclusiveness and diversity,’ they don’t really mean inclusion and diversity,” he said.

“What they really mean is old, half-naked, hairy men who dance around children in fishnet stockings, grooming children to pervert their sexuality and cutting off their body parts!”

The pastor complained that people who spoke out against drag queens were called “right-wing, neo-Nazi, misogynistic, sexist, homophobic bigots.”

The gay agenda war is happening in Australia! The LGBTQ+ sex indoctrination propaganda is already in Australia!’ he continued.

“It’s already in our schools and believed by so many, s/he shim-shim pansexual pancake, lesbian blue-haired feminist teachers.”

The pastor has been particularly active during Pride Month, which is celebrated in June.

“Marriage and sex are sacred human experiences designed by God between one man and one woman for life,” he said.

“Homosexuality will never be normal for the people of God, no matter how much culture or Hollywood tries to normalize it!”

His homophobic remarks have shocked many.

‘The statements about what love IS are amazing and beautiful! But I’m confused why a church would be so focused on fighting one specific group,” one said.

“Does this level of opposition reflect Jesus? When I see this, all I see is worldly arguments and battles, not Jesus, who has conquered the world and does not have to participate in culture wars.”

“I can’t believe you’re allowed to preach these nasty views in the church. I would certainly never come to your church! Jesus loves everyone,” said another.

A third wrote: “This is dangerous and misinformed. I feel for every LGBT person who attends this church. Preaching in this way leads to suicide, depression, and worse, people come to believe that God does not love them.”

“It’s weird that you think of sex when you think of the LGBTQ+ community,” a fourth commented on an excerpt from his sermon “Christianity VS LGTQ Sex Religion.”

‘Being Quer is not a religion. This whole “us versus them” thing is completely made up by people like you. Should you call it a religion so that you feel justified in attacking other people in this way? Because you think the only true religion is Christianity?’

The pastor also repeatedly condemns abortion, while his wife Noleen happily poses in an “Abolish Abortion” t-shirt.

God is pro-life, the devil is pro-choice. God is pro-life, the devil is pro-abortion. The devil came to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came for people to have life and life to the fullest!’ he said.
