Australian boxing world champion Ebanie Bridges has faced fierce fan criticism after attending Anthony Joshua’s fight UFC superstar Conor McGregor in a revealing outfit.
Bridges made headlines around the world when she and McGregor attended Katie Taylor’s homecoming fight against Chantelle Cameron in Dublin in May.
She and McGregor posed for several photos that quickly went viral, with the Aussie IBF bantamweight queen later joking that she felt she had been “mistreated” by the big UFC.
This time, Bridges came to the O2 Arena as part of McGregor’s entourage with a few other scantily clad women, who showed support for McGregor’s Irish Forged Stout ale.
She posted on twitter, “Watch me with my friend @TheNotoriousMMA and make sure you get a @ForgedStout.”

Not everyone was impressed when they saw the pair together at the event, however, with some claiming the former Sydney maths teacher was “on the hunt for clout.”
The worst PR disaster in history. No respect or dignity,” said one Instagram user.
Biggest clout fighter I’ve ever seen, real desparado. Cocaine Conor,’ said another.
“You followed him like a stray dog last night. Half embarrassing,’ said a third.
‘Do anything for a fiver. Shame on boxing,’ replied another.
Others expressed outrage on behalf of McGregor’s fiancée Dee Devlin, with whom he has three young children.
“He’s a married man, you let yourself hang half naked around him, you’re world champion, you don’t have to,” said one Instagram user.
“House squatter,” wrote another.
“Bet Conner’s wife loves this lmao,” a third said.
Bridges was also widely criticized when she launched her OnlyFans account in December for her hateful World Title showdown with rival Shannon O’Connell, and says she has no regrets.
“I was the first female boxer on OnlyFans, but now you have Mikaela Mayer, Siniesa Estrada, guys like Devin Haney, Derek Chisora, Andy Ruiz and a bunch of influencers using it,” Bridges told News Corp.
“It’s not porn, it’s getting away from porn.
Considering that Bridges’ fellow Aussie, music star Iggy Azalea, says she’s making millions from OnlyFans, the boxer is likely seeing an exponential growth in her bank balance — even if the move has seen her receiving online criticism.
“It’s like when I first came into the (boxing) scene and I weighed in lingerie, it’s something different and people can’t handle it, they’re not open-minded,” she said.
“For me personally, I have to do what’s right for me and it (OnlyFans) is to build generative wealth.
“Women’s boxing isn’t like men (in terms of earning power) – we’ll get there – but why not make some extra money if I can?”
Bridges is immensely popular with fight fans thanks to her all-or-nothing style in the ring, risky sense of humor, intelligence, and habit of wearing flashy outfits to her weigh-ins.
