Five teenage girls are arrested after leading police on a high-speed car chase in Sydney that ended in an accident

A high-speed night chase has ended with a crash and a police dog biting one of the five teenage girls arrested.
NSW Police were patrolling the Great Western Highway near Bungarribee in western Sydney shortly before midnight Monday when they spotted an allegedly stolen vehicle.
Officers attempted to stop the Toyota Kluger and gave chase when it failed to stop.
A short time later, the vehicle was unable to navigate a junction and crashed into a lorry near the M7 junction at Eastern Creek.

Five teenage residents in the Kluger fled on foot to nearby bushland.
Dog Squad agents launched a search and located the teens a short time later.
The 17-year-old female driver was treated at the scene by paramedics after suffering dog bites during the arrest.
The five girls were taken to Mount Druitt Police Station for questioning.
No charges have been filed at this early stage.
The Toyota Kluger was badly damaged.
