EastEnders: Whitney Drops Bombshell When She Tells Ryan Their Daughter Lily Is Pregnant

Whitney Dean dropped a major bombshell during Monday night’s episode of EastEnders when she told Ryan Malloy that his daughter Lily is pregnant.

Whitney got into trouble during the dramatic episode when she decided to tell her half-brother Ryan that their daughter Lily is expecting a child.

It came after Whitney (Shona McGarty) got into a heated exchange with Lily’s mother, Stacey (Lacey Turner), over her belief that Lily should tell Ryan.

Whitney chatted with Lily (Lillia Turner) and urged her to tell Ryan about her pregnancy, prompting the teen to ask her mom if she should.

A furious Stacey accused Whitney of influencing Lily, saying she had enough to deal with, and Whitney vowed not to tell Ryan (Neil McDermott).

Timing: Whitney Dean dropped a major bombshell during Monday night’s episode of EastEnders when she told Ryan Malloy that her daughter Lily is pregnant.

However, she later went back on her word when she was seen revealing the pregnancy to a shocked Ryan, and the episode ended on an explosive cliffhanger.

At the beginning of the episode, Whitney was seen chatting with Lily, who is expecting a child with Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day).

Whitney, who is also pregnant, expressed concern that Lily had not told her father Ryan that she was expecting a child.

She said, ‘Do you think Ryan would want to know what’s wrong with you?’

To which Lily replied, “I haven’t seen him since I was five.”

But Whitney insisted that he had sent her money, continuing: “I know being pregnant is hard and scary, but it might be someone you can really talk to.”

Lily insisted that she can talk to her mother Stacey, but Whitney said, “Your mother has gone crazy and sometimes you may have to fend for yourself, do you really think you can do that?”

Lily was later seen worried while chatting with her mother Stacey, asking her if she was “scared” when she gave birth.

Stacey said: ‘Yes of course! It’s weird, isn’t it, to have a little person growing inside of you.’

Lily then asked, ‘Did Ryan help?’ to which Stacey replied, ‘No.’

Stacey added: ‘Where does all this come from?’

Lily replied, ‘He’s going to be a grandfather,’ to which Stacey asked, ‘What, did you just come up with this, since this morning?’

Lily glared at Whitney, with Stacey fuming that she was ‘amazing’ before barging in to confront her.

She said, ‘Hey! I begged you to drop it! He literally can’t cope with anything else.

‘Come on, he’s her dad. He cares about her,’ Whitney said.

But Stacey yelled, ‘He doesn’t even know what she looks like,’ to which Whitney replied, ‘Of course I do, I send you pictures all the time!’

Stacey then argued that Whitney just wanted her older brother back, which Whitney denied.

Stacey then said, ‘Okay, none of us want it here, so should we just keep it that way, yeah? We’ll tell you when it’s ready. OK?’

However, Whitney later became emotional after learning that her baby’s test results were delayed for another two weeks, and after being persuaded by Zack (James Farrar), she decides to confide in her older brother Ryan.

But during a phone call with, her emotions got the best of her, she dropped the bombshell that Lily is pregnant.

Confused: Lily is expecting a child with Ricky Mitchell (both pictured) and Stacey told Whitney they would tell Ryan when the teen was ready.

After Ryan insisted that she could “tell her anything,” Whitney tearfully revealed, “Lily is having a baby.”

The episode came to a very dramatic end when a surprised Ryan simply said, ‘Lily is what?’

And things will go from bad to worse as Ryan returns to the Square in tense scenes this week after learning of Lily’s pregnancy.

In the next few episodes, Ryan will visit a surprised Stacey and a shy Lily will come face to face with her father again.

The young woman is ready to enjoy quality time with her father, and Ryan offers to help them financially.

During his visit to Walford, Ryan also makes it a point to visit Ricky Jr.’s (Frankie Day) parents, Jack (Scott Maslan) and Sam (Kim Medcalf), and the three exchange some harsh words.

Later, Sam, Ricky Jnr and Ryan arrive to support Lily in her first scan, much to Stacey’s anger. And her anger only seems set to escalate when Ryan drops a huge bombshell just before the scan.

And despite Lily and Ricky’s delight at seeing their baby, things turn tense when Ryan and Stacey are thrown out after exchanging some harsh words.

Back at home, Lily is upset with her mother for how she behaved towards Ryan, and Stacey reminds the pre-teen that Martin Fowler is her father, since he was the one who raised her and was always there for her.

Later, feeling like a burden to her mother and worried about her family’s financial problems, Lily makes a big decision. How will Stacey take the news?
