EastEnders Trailer Shows Drama Is Reserved For Six Of Walford’s Best Women

As EastEnders is set to celebrate its 38th anniversary, fans can expect plenty of drama after an explosive storyline was teased.

The TV show will be set to shed light on six of Walford’s most famous female characters in a special week of episodes airing later this year.

Leaving some big hints of things to come, the new trailer showed soap opera fans that some of their favorite characters will endure momentous events.

The dramatic trailer opens by showing Kellie Bright, aka Linda Carter on the show, who appears to be deeply stressed behind the bar.

The actress can then be heard saying during the trailer: “There’s a moment right before you do something…”

And many questions were left unanswered as a BBC announcer declared, ‘in an instant, everything changes’.

The popular soap opera has been on the rise recently, and the trailer couldn’t have come at a better time.

As the show’s late-night television ratings have skyrocketed of late compared to many other soap operas.

And the soap opera isn’t planning to stop there, as Metro recently revealed that they’ve been sworn to secrecy on any additional details.

The trailer comes after EastEnders fans discovered a significant disaster story for the show’s 40th anniversary.

and according to mylondonsoap fans attended a forum on Digital Spy.

And one fan, in particular, said: “With EE’s 40th coming up in 2 years, this is your chance to release anything and everything on the screen…depending on the budget.” With that in mind, what kind of epic disaster would be realistic for them to celebrate turning 40?’

And some of the user ideas included a plane crash, a helicopter crash, or a car bomb.

Many other fans then agreed with the fans’ predictions and started tossing around their suggestions, trying to add fuel to the fire.

EastEnders will broadcast the episodes from Monday 20th February on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
