EastEnders teases shock wedding as new filming shots reveal a carriage and decorations at the Queen Vic ahead of dramatic upcoming storyline
It looks like love is in the air in Albert Square as The Queen Vic was dressed up for a wedding on the set of EastEnders in Elstree on Saturday.
The people on set were hard at work decorating the iconic pub for the upcoming filming, and the characters who are getting married are still a mystery.
The entrance was covered in a large satin gold sheet, complete with a floral arch and a red carpet leading to the door.
And it looks like spectators can expect a particularly lavish gathering, with a white horse-drawn cart, also covered in flowers, parked outside.
White and gold balloons and bows were placed around the building and staff drove around with shopping carts full of decorations.

There was what looked like a donkey next to the huge flower display, but the sign with the name of the wedding was nowhere to be seen.
Now the question on everyone’s mind is: who’s getting married? MailOnline contacted representatives for EastEnders, who declined to comment.
While bosses are still not revealing anything about the newlyweds, there are currently three engaged couples on the show.
The recent filming came shortly after beloved soap couple Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) got engaged in heartwarming scenes last month.
Suki knelt on one knee, coincidentally in The Vic, and declared her love to Eve.
She bellowed, “I love you, and I would do anything for you. If I had my life to live over again, I would find you sooner. Will you do me the greatest honor of my life and become my wife?”
Another EastEnders couple waiting to tie the knot are Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) and his partner Honey (Emma Barton) after a dramatic day at the London Marathon in April.
Honey was supposed to run the marathon with Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) in memory of his beloved, late wife Lola Pearce-Brown (Danielle Harold). Billy was supposed to get down on one knee before the event started.
But Billy loses the ring just before the marathon, throwing his plans into disarray.

It follows the news that EastEnders star Rudolph Walker, 84, who has played Jamaican patriarch Patrick Trueman since 2001, has revealed he has written a memoir
He then arrives too late at the starting line when he has to take teenager Britney Wainwright (Lola Campbell) to the hospital after she has a bicycle accident.
But a surprise came when all the characters were caught off guard when TV footage of the race showed Honey proposing to Billy after she crossed the finish line.
Reiss Colwell also proposed to his pregnant girlfriend Sonia Fowler earlier this summer using his murdered wife’s ring.
Sonia is currently in prison awaiting trial for the murder, which was actually committed by Reiss.
The mysterious wedding comes just after an EastEnders legend announced a brand new career move after two decades on the scene.
Rudolph Walker CBE, who has played Jamaican patriarch Patrick Trueman since 2001, has announced that he has written his memoirs.
Walking With Dignity chronicles the trials and hardships the 84-year-old actor has endured, as well as the highlights of his 60-year career so far.
