While times have certainly changed around those who are HIV positive, the next few scenes will prove that some old stances remain as Zack gets mixed reactions from gamblers when he shares his health struggles.
It comes when Zack starts planning for his future with Whitney after sharing his diagnosis with his family, but will she be willing to rekindle their romance after the death of their daughter Peach?
In the upcoming episodes, Zack feels more positive now that Sharon and Martin know about his diagnosis.
He gets even more excited about the idea of getting a flat with Whitney and trying for another baby when his viral load comes down.

He later approaches Ravi for a down payment loan, but when he shares his exciting news with Whitney, she is blindsided.
After going to The Vic with Martin and Whitney, Zack gets into a fight with Ben over their canceled fight.
When Ben accuses him of being a coward by refusing to fight, Zack tells the whole pub that he quit because he is HIV positive.
The Vic punters falter after Zack’s announcement, with Martin begging him to focus on his future with Whitney and not rush anything.
In Walford East, Nugget makes Ravi feel small as he reads him the relact about his ignorance about HIV, while Zack apologizes to Whitney for rushing her and promises to go slow.
The couple were devastated by the death of their baby girl last month after doctors revealed she had Edwards syndrome.
They are no longer together, but Zack finally decided to tell Whitney (Shona McGarty) about his diagnosis.
While Whitney struggled to accept Zack’s news immediately, viewers took to Twitter to praise his handling of the situation, with many insisting that Whitney could have handled things differently.

Ahead of the episodes, actor James Farrar, who plays Zack, explained, “It’s hurtful and there are some ignorant comments from the residents of Walford.
“Zack is experiencing all these judgments for the first time and it breaks him with the lack of understanding, but it helps him filter out the people he doesn’t need in his life.
“Zack is very optimistic and I feel like he is constantly trying to fix things. Zack wants to start planning a family and a future with Whitney right away.
That’s how Zack thinks it will help him deal with the pain of the recent events and he thinks it will make things a little bit easier for his relationship with Whitney.
“They’ve both said they love each other, which is beautiful, and Zack and Whitney fell in love as a result of the trauma.”
