Whitney Dean will receive worrying news about her pregnancy in next week’s EastEnders, while being kept in the dark about Zack Hudson’s HIV diagnosis.

In the next few scenes, Whitney is concerned when she starts spotting and heads to the hospital to be checked out, and is shocked when her doctor shares that her ultrasound has pinpointed a situation with her son.

As Whitney accepts the news, Zack admits that he is deeply ashamed of his HIV diagnosis and, despite Sam Mitchell’s urging, refuses to share his status with the mother-to-be.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF HIV?

Most people infected with HIV experience a brief flu-like illness two to six weeks after infection.

Symptoms usually last one to two weeks.

After the initial symptoms, people with HIV may not have any further symptoms for several years.
