EastEnders star Michelle Collins has revealed she has been stranded in Spain after losing her passport, forcing her to call local police for help.
The 61-year-old actress called for help from her airline Easyjet on Monday after losing her passport at the airport, forcing her to miss her flight back to Britain.
Michelle, who returned to EastEnders earlier this year as Cindy Beale, later revealed she had been barred from boarding the flight by airline staff and was planning to visit the embassy on Tuesday to obtain an emergency document allowing she could travel home.
She first posted: 'Please @easyJet can you help me? I lost my passport at Malaga airport. The police (I've been there) say it's up to the airline to let me fly home,
'My flight leaves at 8:30 tonight. I'm going to the airport after just leaving the police station. Thank you Michele x.”

Michelle later revealed that she had been barred from boarding the flight by airline staff and planned to visit the embassy on Tuesday to obtain an emergency document that would allow her to travel home.
She admitted she was having trouble getting help from her airline, adding: 'No one is very helpful @easyJet, this is awful.'
Hours later, Michelle revealed she had missed her flight back to Britain and would apply for an emergency document in a bid to get home and return to work.
She said: “Thank you most of you for your helpful comments, I was not allowed to fly, went to the embassy, was closed, applied for an emergency document online, so let's see what happens, I'll go there when it opens tomorrow morning.
'I'm supposed to be filming @bbceastenders but I'm alive and safe.'
An easyJet spokesperson told MailOnline: 'We have been in contact with Ms Collins to advise her to contact the British Embassy for assistance with emergency travel documentation. This is always necessary if a passport is lost.'
'While we sympathize with the situation, all immigration procedures are set by the authorities, not the airline, and so we must follow what the authorities require.'
Michelle made a sensational return to EastEnders in June as legendary character Cindy Beale, after a 25-year break from the BBC soap.
As Cindy finally made her dramatic return to the Square, she visited her mother-in-law Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
Cindy explained that she had been in France with her son Ian and grandson Peter, leaving Kathy furious as she thought Cindy was dead.
After Cindy called Kathy's son Ben Mitchell “a real psychopath,” Kathy lashed out by punching her in the face.
The pair continued to punch and throw insults at each other until Kathy pushed Cindy to the ground while calling her 'a bi**h'.

BBC viewers praised the explosive scene, with one token: 'Those scenes between Cindy and Kathy were EastEnders at its best'
Another said: 'Not even minutes have been reunited and blows are flying between Cindy and Kathy. The EastEnders we know and love'
While a third said: 'That was iconic'.
